Steven Sims first established The Cavaliers in 2007 under the guise of F.I.S.H. rugby to bring together his friends from school and university to play at his university's summer tournament, the St Andrews Uni 7s.

We lost our captain Steven in 2012 to a rare blood condition called ITP, his friends decided to re-establish the team and use it as a vehicle to raise money. The Steven Sims Cavaliers were born, keeping Steven and his values at the core of the rugby club.

Today, The Cavaliers are a cup winning invitational side with associate membership of the Scottish Rugby Union.
